Special Called Joint Meeting of the Board of Aldermen and the Southport Planning Board
The Board of Aldermen has scheduled a Special Joint Board Workshop for Thursday, March 24th, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. at the Southport Community Building located at 223 E. Bay Street, Southport. Both the Board of Aldermen and the Planning Board will be in attendance to hear about the proposed Indigo Phase 2 project.
The purpose of this workshop is to inform both City boards of the proposed project, so they feel more comfortable answering questions and making decisions. There will be a public comment period. Additionally, a special Mayor’s Town Hall has been scheduled for April 4th to give the public the chance to ask more questions.

City of Southport Board of Aldermen Have Called for a Special Meeting on March 8th
The Board of Aldermen has scheduled a Special Board Workshop for Tuesday, March 8th, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. at the Southport Community Building located at 223 E. Bay Street, Southport. We anticipate the workshop will conclude by 12:30 p.m.
The purpose of this workshop is to become better acquainted with the new agenda software, tablets and review the communications policies and strategies, including audio-visual upgrades.
