CITY OF SOUTHPORT BOARD OF ALDERMEN NOTICE SPECIAL CALLED PUBLIC MEETING and CLOSED SESSION RESCHEDULED DATE

The Board of Aldermen’s Special Public Meeting has been rescheduled for Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Southport Community Building located at 223 E. Bay Street, Southport.

The public is invited to join in the conversations regarding the homeless population in Southport. City staff and the Southport Police Department will be presenting information on our current ordinances, best practices, and possible resources.

There will also be a Closed Session for the Board per N.C.G.S. 143-318.11(a)5.
