Notice of Zoning Text Amendment Public Hearing, August 10, 2023

The public will take notice that the City of Southport Board of Aldermen has called a Public Hearing at 6:00p.m. on August 10, 2023, at the Southport Community Building located at 223 E. Bay Street.

The Public Hearing is to discuss and hear from the public regarding a proposed Zoning Text Amendment to the City of Southport Subdivision Ordinance. The amendment seeks revise Section 3.19 Signs to allow backlit and halo illuminated signs.

A copy of the proposed amendment may be found in the City of Southport Development Services Department offices.
