CITY OF SOUTHPORT FORESTRY COMMITTEE PUBLIC NOTICE

The City of Southport Forestry Committee sponsored an Urban Forestry inspection at Franklin Square Park. A representative from the NC Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services conducted a site visit of the park and surrounding area at the end of July.  A copy of the report and findings are now available on the website here.

The Southport Forestry Committee is committed to the preservation, advocacy, and education of the City’s trees. The Committee provides support and a level of expertise that helps the public and staff make decisions about individual trees, and the entire urban forest.
