Road Closures During the 100th Anniversary of the Model T Fire Truck Event on April 2nd

We’re gearing up for the big birthday celebration event tomorrow, Saturday, April 2nd that will be hosted by the Southport Fire Department. Road closures will be in place before and during the event to make room for all of those amazing vintage vehicles that the Cape Fear Cruisers will be bringing in for our viewing pleasure.

• BAY STREET will be closed along the waterfront between Oliver’s and S. Atlantic between 6:30 am and 6:00 pm.
• S. HOWE STREET will be closed between Moore Street and Waterfront Park between 6:30 am and 6:00 pm.
• I AM STREET will be closed at Bay Street between 6:30 am and 6:00 pm.
• S. DAVIS STREET will be closed between Moore St. and Bay Street between 6:30 am and 6:00 pm.
• At 4 pm, the big parade will make its way up HOWE STREET from Waterfront Park to Southport Fire Headquarters. During this time, HOWE Street will be closed to traffic and access via side roads.
