The City of Southport is seeking applicants for appointment on the Cemetery Committee:

The Board of Aldermen adopted a Cemetery Committee ordinance on June 8, 2023 and are now seeking applicants for appointment on the Cemetery Committee.

There are a total of (9) positions available, but appointed members shall include:

• (1) representative from the Southport Historical Society
• (1) representative from the Beautification Committee
• (1) representative from the John N. Smith Cemetery Restoration and Preservation, Inc.
• (4) appointed at-large members

Applications will be accepted through August 30, 2023.

Howe Street, Southport, NC 28461.
