CITY OF SOUTHPORT
CITY STAFF COMPLETES OSHA AND HAZARD COMMUNICATION TRAINING
Southport, NC – On Tuesday, November 22nd, City of Southport staff engaged in OSHA and Hazard Communication training, conducted by Jiles Manning, CIH, CSP, and Gregory Greene of the North Carolina Department of Labor. This training was to review OSHA regulations and Hazard Communication standards as part of a continuation of staff trainings implemented by City Manager Bonnie Therrien.
Previously, staff has held trainings on Active Attacks, Ethics, and Emotional IQ. The City looks to hold a future training in the Spring on more safety and municipal training items.
