Golf Cart Ordinance Updates – as of June 12, 2025

Highlights:

• Golf cart permits will now run from January 1 – December 31 each year. 
• RENEWAL permits
  • Renewal period will be December 1 – March 31
  • Renewals completed after March 31 will incur a $25 late fee
• NEW permits
  • New permits will continue to be issued after inspection.
• ALL permits
  • Inspection schedule: May-August – Wednesdays, 10am-1pm, Summer Market, September – April, Wednesdays, 10am-1pm, APS Office, Rhett Street
