BRUNSWICK COUNTY INVITES CODERED SUBSCRIBERS TO ENROLL IN NEW READYBRUNSWICK EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION SYSTEM BY THURSDAY, AUG. 10

Brunswick County is inviting community members previously subscribed to our CodeRED system to now enroll in the new ReadyBrunswick emergency notification system.

If you were previously subscribed to CodeRED, you should have received an email on Monday, Aug. 7 inviting you to create a ReadyBrunswick account titled Register Now: ReadyBrunswick Emergency Notification System, powered by Everbridge. This email may have gone to your spam or junk folders.

The registration link in the email will remain active until 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 10. You are encouraged to sign up now to ensure your information is correct.

If you were subscribed to CodeRED, your contact information was transferred to ReadyBrunswick, and you will still receive emergency notifications. However, you will still need to create a ReadyBrunswick account to update your contact information and make changes to your alert preferences.

If you have not received an email, you were likely not enrolled in CodeRED and will need to set up a ReadyBrunswick account as a new registrant.

New ReadyBrunswick registrations are temporarily unavailable until Thursday, Aug. 10 as we enroll our former CodeRED subscribers. Thank you in advance for your patience, cooperation and participation in this important program.

If you have questions, call Brunswick County Emergency Services Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 910.253.5383 or email emergency.management@brunswickcountync.gov.
