Water Fountains Now Open at Taylor Field Dog Park

Southport, NC – The City of Southport is excited to announce the completion of a community-funded project to install new dog water fountains throughout the city. Funded by the “Sisters of Southport/Winterfest Tea Committee” through their 2022 initiative, these fountains will provide fresh, clean water for Southport’s furry friends. This thoughtful addition to our public spaces reflects the city’s ongoing commitment to improving the quality of life for both residents and visitors.

“We are thrilled to see this project come to fruition,” said Allayna Dail, Director of Community Relations. “It’s great to know our four-legged companions now have easier access to fresh water.”

Mark Your Calendars: Winterfest Tea – December 7, 2024
In addition, this year’s Winterfest Tea will be held on December 7, 2024, at 1:00 PM, hosted by the City of Southport Beautification Committee. This beloved annual event supports local charitable causes, and community members are invited to participate. Tickets will be available for purchase starting November 1 at the Fort Johnston Visitors Center. Don’t miss the chance to support other community projects.
