CITY OF SOUTHPORT BOARD OF ALDERMEN NOTICE

Please take notice that the Board of Aldermen have scheduled Special Called Meeting for Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. at the Indian Trail Meeting Hall, located at 113 W. Moore Street.

The purpose of the hearing is for the Board of Aldermen to have open discussion about the potential water/wastewater utility merger with Brunswick County. Other topics discussed include staffing levels of several departments and the financial aspects of a merger.
