Zoning Text Amendment Public Hearing, March 16, 2023

The public will take notice that the Planning Board of the City of Southport has called a Public Hearing at 6:00 p.m. on March 16, 2023, at the Southport Community Building located at 223 E. Bay Street. The public hearing is to discuss and hear from the public regarding the proposed Zoning Text Amendment to the City of Southport Unified Development Ordinance. The amendment seeks to revise Section 2.11 ‘Conditional Rezoning’ to provide more flexibility in application process, clarifications to the process to allow more public input, amendments to Appendix A.

A copy of the proposed amendments may be found in the City of Southport Development Services offices.
