September 17: John Rocco, Professor of Naval and Maritime Studies
Two Centuries of Melville, 7 – 8pm
Following our Membership Appreciation Potluck, join John Rocco, professor at State University of New York Maritime College, as he battles the Great White Whale, slavery, and impressment! Rocco will discuss the iconic writer Herman Melville and the lasting legacy of his maritime literature.
