City of Southport PUBLIC NOTICE


1. The proposed 2020-2021 operating budget for the City of Southport has been presented
to the Board of Aldermen and will be available for public inspection at City Hall, 1029 N.
Howe Street from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. weekdays. A copy of the budget will be
available at the James & Margaret Harper Library located at 109 West Moore Street and
on the City’s web page

The Board of Aldermen will hold a Public Hearing June 11, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. in the
Community Building, 223 East Bay Street, for the purpose of receiving public comments on the
proposed operating budget FY 2020-2021.
