Notice of Intent to Donate Surplus Fire Truck to Governmental Unit

The City of Southport Fire Department has identified a 1986 Gruman Telesquirt 55-foot ladder truck to be surplus to its’ current needs. The Board of Aldermen will be considering a request to donate the truck to the County of Brunswick for use by the Sunset Harbor Fire Department.

The Board of Aldermen will consider the donation request at the May 13, 2021 meeting scheduled for 6:00 p.m. at the Community Building; 223 E. Bay Street, Southport, NC 28461. If you have any questions or more information is needed, please contact the City Clerk at (910) 457-7900 x 1010.
