SPECIAL MEETING NOTICE City of Southport Board of Aldermen

The public will take notice that the City of Southport Board of Aldermen will meet on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 10:00 am at the Southport Community Building, located at 223 E. Bay S. for the purpose of holding a special informational meeting on the results from the City’s Water Asset Inventory & Assessment Project.

In June of 2018, the City received a Wastewater Asset Inventory & Assessment grant totaling $65,000 to map and inventory the City’s Wastewater infrastructure, to evaluate the condition of the infrastructure, and to develop an asset management plan with a capital improvements plan identifying which assets are the highest priority for replacement. The City’s consultant will be presenting the City with the results of the Water AIA Project at this meeting.
