Well over 14,000 area residents and visitors from across North Carolina and the East Coast are expected to attend the annual Southport Spring Festival in Franklin Square Park on April 15th from 10 am to 5 pm and April 16th from 10 am to 4 pm. Over 160 crafters and dozens of entertainers will be part of the celebration hosting children’s activities, a plant and flower sale, a trackless train, and a large selection of delicious food. This hugely popular event is free to the public and is sponsored by Downtown Southport Inc., the Kiwanis Club, and the City of Southport.
Downtown Southport, Inc. is dedicated to preserving the heritage and charm of the city. The organization is a 501C3 which encourages and supports preservations projects, cultural activities, educational programs & tourism.
