The Board of Aldermen have scheduled a Special Public Meeting for Thursday, August 31, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. at the Southport Community Building located at 223 E. Bay Street, Southport.
The public is invited to join in the conversations regarding the homeless population in Southport. City staff and the Southport Police Department will be presenting information on our current ordinances, best practices, and possible resources.
