The Board of Aldermen of the City of Southport has scheduled a Special Meeting for Thursday, October 20, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at the Community Building, 223 E. Bay Street.
The Board of Aldermen will be meeting to discuss the appointment of an Interim City Manager in a closed session. The final action in making an appointment shall be taken in the open session.
The closed session meeting will not be open to the public based on N.C.G.S.143-318.11 a.(6): To consider the qualifications, competence, performance, character, fitness, conditions of appointment, or conditions of initial appointment of an individual public officer or employee or prospective public officer or employee, etc.
