City of Southport Request for Qualifications: Engineering Services, Wastewater System Rehabilitation

The proposed wastewater system rehabilitation project was recently funded by USDA Rural Development with a total project cost of approximately $10.8 million.  The project consists of the installation of approximately 18,097 linear feet of 8-inch diameter gravity sewer lines to replace the existing high maintenance gravity sewer system in the project area. The project also includes the construction or rehabilitation of 111 sewer manholes and installation of a sewer pump station to replace the existing Leonard Street pump station.

The Qualifications Package should consist of a bound document including a cover letter and the tabbed sections described below. Due to demands on the time of City staff, the submittal is limited to fifteen (15) single-sided pages and all pages should be numbered. Sub-tabs or dividers are acceptable within the required tabs and do not count toward the page limit.

One (1) original and two (2) copies of the Qualification Package are due to the City of Southport no later than Friday, October 31, 2022 at 5:00 PM.
