Shop with a Cop Program 2019
Program Overview
The Southport Police Department will begin accepting applications and donations for our “Shop with a Cop” program on Friday November 8th at noon. Applications will be available at the Police Department and webpage at www.cityofsouthport.com. Applications will be accepted until Wednesday December 11th at noon. Our “Shop Day” will be Saturday December 14th 9am-12pm at the Walmart on N Howe Street.
Donations
Donations can be dropped off at the Southport Police Department, 1029 N Howe Street. Please make checks out to Southport Police Department and note “Shop with a Cop” in the memo section.
Guidelines/Eligibility
Applications must be dropped off in person at the Southport Police Department by the applicant incase we have any questions. The age limit is 14 unless special circumstances which can be listed on the application under additional comments.
Applications will be collected until noon Wednesday December 11th. Notifications to family’s accepted will be made Thursday. Our shop day will be Saturday December 14th, from 9-12 at the Walmart on N Howe Street. Southport Police department will have a registration table and dedicated registers for program shoppers. Applicants will need a photo ID to collect on arrival and Officers as well as Santa Claus will be on hand to shop and greet kids.
