The Jaycee Building is one of our most popular rental buildings for luncheons, meetings, family gatherings, and more. It is spacious with a full kitchen, tables, and chairs for custom configuration and plenty of parking.

Information

Hours:  7:00 am to 10 pm, 7 days/week

Cost: $150 for city residents and $250 for non-residents, with a 4-hour minimum.

Seating Layouts/ Capacity:

          Conference style – 65 people

          Theater-style – 125 people

All room setups and cleanups are to be completed by the individual using the space.

          Parking: on site

          Restrooms: yes

          Kitchen: A full kitchen

Rules & Regulations

Usage Guidelines:

  • This facility is not staffed.

Facility Rules At-Glance:

  • Persons or organizations using the building or shelter shall be held responsible for post-activity clean-up, or any damage to property that occurs while the facility is being used.
  • Groups using the facility will be responsible for the orderly behavior and must conform to the department’s policies regarding the non-use of alcoholic beverages, good moral standards, and no smoking, weapons, or drugs.
  • Parents, guardians, or adult leaders must sign for persons 18 years and under or youth groups requesting the use of the facility and must assure adult supervision and a ratio of 1 adult per 25 children.
  • Activities must cease and the facility closed by 10:00 p.m.
  • This facility will be made available when there are no other scheduled activities.
  • Southport Parks & Recreation buildings and facilities cannot be made available on a continuous basis for any one person or organization.

Facility Access: A new code will be generated monthly and will be provided upon confirmation.

Agreement Form

The applicant understands and agrees that a nonprofit organization using a City facility is responsible for abiding by all rules and regulations set forth in the Facility Use Policy, as may be amended from time to time. The applicant acknowledges and understands that it is the responsibility of the applicant to verify the rules and regulations in effect at the time of use.
