City of Southport Employment Opportunity: Full-Time Facilities Maintenance Technician

The City of Southport is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Maintenance Technician. This individual will assist the Facilities Coordinator in the repair and maintenance of all the City’s facilities, and other duties as deemed necessary.

Potential candidates must have experience in construction, electrical, plumbing, framing, drywall and painting. Potential candidates must be able to perform heavy work, often lifting between 20-100 pounds, as needed. Candidates should be able to work independently or as a team.

Minimum Requirements:
Valid NC Drivers License
High School Diploma/GED
Ability to work some holidays
