CANCELED – Spring Into History

Join us as we explore the natural and cultural history of our southern neighbor. Trips depart from NCMM and include transportation and lunch. Ages 15 and older welcome. $40. All programs are subject to NC state taxes, 10% discount for Friends’ Family membership and above. Registration closes the WEEK prior at 5p.m.!

April 4: Spring into History, Remembering Reconstruction Symposium, 10:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Travel back in time without leaving Southport! Unsure of what Reconstruction was, when it happened, or the effects seen around the state of North Carolina? Join professors Dr. West, Dr. Domby, and Dr. Zombek in discussing reconstruction, its memory in North Carolina, and through the eyes of the nation.
