CANCELED – Kiwanis 5K & 1-Miler Fun Run/Walk

April 11, 2020 @ 8:00 am

The Kiwanis Club of Southport-Oak Island invite you to participate in our 5K & 1-Miler Fun Run/Walk at 8:00AM, April 11, 2020.  The Race will start and finish at Waterfront Park in the historic town of Southport, NC. All ages of runners/walkers are invited. All funds raised go directly to provide services to the youth of Brunswick County. A few examples of our work include:

  • Impacting the lives of thousands of children through tutoring, mentoring, academic recognition, career counseling, leadership development, character building, nutrition, foster care support, and health care.
  • Purchasing and delivering books to county childhood development centers to support early childhood reading programs.
  • Awarding $25,000 in scholarships yearly.
  • Performing more than 14,000 hours of community service each year.

Come to the Race, then stay and enjoy the Southport Spring Festival!
