The Board of Aldermen wishes to thank everyone who attended and participated at the public meeting on August 12, 2021, regarding the proposed Street Light Policy. Southport is an exceptional place for both residents and visitors. Street lighting can enhance or diminish the area’s natural beauty. Please review the draft street light policy and contact the Street Light Committee or City Staff with any comments regarding the draft policy or lighting preference.
