City of Southport Board of Aldermen Special Meeting
UDO Rewrite Draft Text Amendment Public Hearing Notice
The public will take notice that the City of Southport Board of
Aldermen will meet on Monday, August 31st, 2020 at 6 PM at the
Southport Community Building, located at 223 E. Bay St. for the
purpose of holding a public hearing on a zoning text amendment that
would rewrite and update the Unified Development Ordinance.
The public is encouraged to attend. The Proposed Draft of the UDO
Rewrite can be found at https://cityofsouthport.com/planning-and-inspections/.

Meetings of the Board of Aldermen are now open. Facial coverings are required. Meetings will
have a 50-person capacity and social distancing must be adhered to.
