City of Southport Board of Aldermen Meeting
The public will take notice that the Board of Aldermen of the City of Southport has called a public hearing at 6:00 pm on October 8, 2020, at the Southport Community Building, 223 E. Bay Street, Southport, North Carolina, on the question of annexing the following described territory requested by petition filed pursuant to G. S. 160A-31:
- BEING all of that development known as Bonnet Way Townhomes, consisting of 32 townhome units together with approximately 5.78 acres of common area
At the public hearing, all persons resident or owning property in said territory and all residents of the City of Southport will be given an opportunity to ask questions and receive answers regarding the proposed annexation, and at the public hearing, all such persons will be given an opportunity to be heard.
On the question of annexing the following described territory requested by petition filed pursuant to G. S. 160A-31:
- BEING all of the property known as Lot 2 of the Watson Addition of Southport Heights, approximately .46 acres.
At the public hearing, all persons resident or owning property in said territory and all residents of the City of Southport will be given an opportunity to ask questions and receive answers regarding the proposed annexation, and at the public hearing, all such persons will be given an opportunity to be heard.
