PHASE II – VEGETATIVE AND C&D DEBRIS REMOVAL/DISPOSAL
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

The City of Southport is currently accepting bids for the removal and disposal of Vegetative
Debris and removal of C&D (Construction and Demolition) Debris for the tropical, winter and
nor’ eastern storm seasons through June 30, 2021. Bidders’ instructions and proposal forms may
be obtained from the City Clerk, 1029 N. Howe St., Suite 100, Southport, NC 28461, or by
contacting Ms. Michelle Windham, City Clerk, at (910) 457-7925. Documents may also be
downloaded from the City of Southport’s website at https://cityofsouthport.com.

Deadline for submittal of bids will be 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 9, 2019. The bid opening
and reading, which is open to the public, will take place in a conference room made available at
the City Hall Offices at 1029 N. Howe St., Southport, NC.
A pre-bid conference is scheduled for 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at conference room
made available at the City Hall Offices at 1029 N. Howe St., Southport, NC.

The City of Southport reserves the right to reject any or all project proposals.
